Very Fun CD To Listen To, July 5, 2009

Place where I jumped made a vid with this artist's music. It took me a while to figure out who the artist was - it was hard since none of the lyrics would come up when searching, but one day I finally found out and ordered this CD. Konu's music is original, fun to listen to, and I love that it's part reggae, part hip/hop, with some Cali and Hawaiian influences in it. Seriously, the music on here is tight - it has great beats/rhythms and you can listen to it over and over without getting tired of it. My favorites are: Words To Look After, We In The Bay, Chill In The Back, Catch Da' Boy, and Them Kind Of Girls. Awesome music and lyrics. I have it playing on my ipod and in my car all the time.

Blew my mind...., January 20, 2012

This album literally blew my mind. I live in Honolulu and am growing tired of the same crap being played over and over. No one wants to take any risks musically here, except for a few artists and Konu is one of them. I love how he combines the local flavor with deep beats and rhymes. For me, he is the Bone Thugs n Harmony of Hawaii. Inhale some pakalolo and put on some Konu....
