5.0 out of 5 stars best coconut milk, May 30, 2009
This review is from: Coconut Milk, Unsweetened, Organic, 13.5 oz. (Misc.)
This is better than Thai Kitchen! We just did a taste test and it's this one hands down. Thai Kitchen had to be stirred - alot - and the texture was still lumpy! This one is creamy and smooth right out of the can and the taste is way better - suh-weet!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love coconut milk in smoothies, May 27, 2009
This review is from: Coconut Milk, Unsweetened, Organic, 13.5 oz. (Misc.)
I wanted to share a great way to use coconut milk, not only is it excellent for health but tastes great too.
I haven't personaly tried this brand but would like to know what everyone else thinks about this compared to the Thia Kitchen brand.
For a great tasting and healthy smoothy that your kids will LOVE here's how:
One handful of fresh spinach, toss in a small handful of frozen chunks of mango, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, add 1-2 tbsp agave nectar or other sweetner. Blend and drink. This is soooo good!
I also added some vital nutrients to mine, it came in a liquid form, but I've also added powdered forms before with great results.
Hope you like it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars People, we need to love the coconut!, August 13, 2005
This review is from: Coconut Milk, Unsweetened, Organic, 13.5 oz. (Misc.)
Our entire lives, we have neglected the coconut. It has been viewed as a silly, yet delicious fruit, used mainly to create Pina Colada's. Or Coconut cream pie. Well, now it has come to the attention of the health concious that the milk from a coconut is extremely beneficial since it's loaded with more potassium than, yes.. EVEN a banana! Potassium creates raw and powerful energy in the body that can help the human function without any other food for hours at a time.

So what am I getting at?? Coconut milk is a great drink, not only because it's healthy and delicious, but because it's more replenishing than energy drinks and Gatorade. First of all, coconut milk or coconut water, as some companies like to call it, is free of chemicals, sugars, and preservatives. You are drinking the milk of the coconut and that's it.. so when it comes down to the "you are what you eat and drink" theory, then you can proudly proclaim your purity and say that you drink the delicious milk of a fresh baby coconut. Additionally, drinks like Gatorade, which are supposed to be full of replenishing energy, are also full of a lot of other sick stuff, possibly even animal by-products such as animal urine or hormones. Sick! Do you want to go jogging and replenish with coconut milk or with preservatives and piss? Plus, your teeth won't turn red or yellow and then fall out when you turn 30. Instead, your teeth will shine and you will smell like a tropical island - sheer beauty. I hope my words of wisdom will help you make the right decision next time you go to the store and have to decide between coconut milk and Gatorade.
