In order to keep my North Face, Cat's Meow mummy bag cleaner and have something to use on warm nights my wife made me a liner from a twin sheet that she stitched-up half-way. It was okay as long as I didn't change sleeping position but it got tangled up as soon as I changed position plus the top of the sheet didn't cover me completely. All of this tended to wake me up as I tried to straighten out the sheet. I've used the Cocoon MummyLiner two different nights for primitive camping for a Boy Scout event - one night it got down to 48 degrees and the other night it was in the high 50s. For the cooler night I slept in the liner with my sleeping bag zipped up and for the warmer night I slept in the liner on top of my sleeping bag. Both nights I was nice and toasty and the liner turned with me so I didn't have to fight with it.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, in order to get into the bag just lay down and put it on like a pair of pants until your feet touch the end of the liner (by the way, the box shaped bottom is great!)then just pull-up the liner the rest of the way around your upper body.

This is a great liner and I highly recommend it to anyone that has had problems with their liner or who has not experienced the benefits of having a liner. You won't be sorry!

I used this as a lightweight blanket when I did the "Lost City Trek" in Colombia. The weather was hot so I didn't want anything too heavy, just enough to cover me up. This was the perfect product for just that. It is soft and comfortable. I'm 6'3 so I was worried it might be too small but it was perfect.

I chose not to go with a silk version because silk has the tendency to be too smooth and can just slide off of you. This liner was just as soft and it is also stretchy so it's easy to move around in.

I've been backpacking for 10+ years from the AT to Philmont and this is the single best purchase I've ever made to sleep better in my North Face bag. I won't step foot into the woods without it. Whether you sleep in just your undies or clothed this liner will work for you. It's also great for those warmer nights when you just need alittle covering.

Do yourself a favor and get this liner!

As a compromise between cotton and silk, this liner was very nice. It provided me the necessary extra warmth on a 7 week Arctic canoe trip, Soft and comfortable, I plan on using this for as long as I can.

Very light, packs small, wicks well, and keeps my sleeping bag clean while being easily machine washable. I wouldn't try using a dryer though, I hang this just like everything else I have made of CoolMax. Feels good against the skin too if you're using it in hot weather and not wearing your woolies in the bag.

I would recommend this to people, but not for any temperature boost, if you're looking to add degrees to your bag grab the Seat-to-Summit instead.

I recommend this for being a great, light, small product that saves cleaning wear on expensive four-season sleeping bags. Now for hot weather lining a 40 degree ultralight jungle bag this is great, but it definitely did not help push down the temperature for comfort in my three season bag.

Used with my 30 degree mummy bag in a recent camping trip in the white mountains. Worked great. It was around 20 degrees outside at night. Don't get a new sleeping bag just get this.

I use this to keep my down bag clean when backpacking. Its is very light weight and packs down pretty small. It will add just a little more warmth but not much

This a comfortable liner and it feels like jersey knit bed sheets. However, don't think you could get by with just this liner on a warm camping trip. This thing feels like a security blanket that has been in the family for 30 years. At night, I wouldn't have this thing over me because it was 80 degrees and too warm but in the morning it'd be 65 degrees and I was cold because it doesn't offer any warmth.

Probably good if you just don't like sleeping next to the nylon sleeping bag material but I can't see it adding any warmth in the winter if your bag is on the limits.
