The best travel sheet to remind you of sleeping back home. The problem with different fabrics - be it the flannel of a sleeping bag or a high-tech poly - is that it feels strange. 2.0 out of 5 stars Expensive sheet of fabric
I bought this product for an upcoming backpacking trip through Europe. The promotional images are deceiving, as I was expecting a little more than a sewn sheet for $20. The fabric is very light and won't last beyond a few months use. Had I known, I would have made it myself (in silk, as well). Anyone with basic sewing skills can make their own for a quarter of the price.

The best travel sheet to remind you of sleeping back home. The problem with different fabrics - be it the flannel of a sleeping bag or a high-tech poly - is that it feels strange. Light sleepers need to feel at home! This bag does everything right. The velcro closure makes rolling it up easy. The flap in front folds over a hostel-provided cover (again, like your bed at home). The unbleached white cotton would be appealing to environment-conscious young people. The pillow pocket keeps the pillow from slipping off the edge of a bed. Soft and strong. It looks like it will last though many, many washes. Minor drawback: the care label is hard to find and difficult to understand. If there is a care symbol, that instruction is not repeated in English. A "40" in a bucket of water? Is that water temp? Farenheit or Celcius? I guess I can look it up on the internet (but why should I have to?)

4.0 out of 5 stars nice and comfy, June 21, 2009

I've used this sheet on my trip around Ireland for 5 weeks and it's really held up. It's lighter than bed sheets, which I like, and it's pretty easy to roll up and put away when the time comes to check out of the hostel. I also really like the sleeve for a pillow...you never know about some of hostels, and the sleeve allows you to sleep on the pillow without actually touching it to your face (I get acne pretty easily with my own pillows, annoying for being 23)

In all, I definitely recommend this product - comfortable and light to carry while backpacking!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and Clean (So Rest Easy), November 18, 2008

This Cotton Travel Sheet is very comfortable. One could find many uses for this sheet, for travel, naps on the couch, you name it. I'm happy with this purchase.

Post Note: Have had this bag for nearly a year, and boy has it come in handy! I now keep it in my overnight case, so when I go somewhere, it goes with me. Now in questionable Hotels, I know that I have clean sheets! Very small when in stuff bag, so it's easy to pack. Oh, great as a sleeping bag liner too even though it won't add much warmth...

Perfect product for the sleeping bag, saves trips to the laundramat. One whole side and the bottom half to 2/3 of the sheet is stiched. About a third is open, but has a Velcro tab, and this thing is LONG so there's no skimping on the sheet. You won't come out of it. Comfortable cotton. Could also be used without a sleeping bag. It also folds into a remarkably compact bundle for travel. Wish I'd known about this years ago.

Update: used this almost daily for 10 months, and have purchased more. Now I can add "durable" to "comfortable."

I bought (color: natural, on sale) this for a trip to a place with dubious hygiene standards and this squarely served the purpose. boy, was i glad i had it with me! it kept me sane and afforded me restful sleep each night. I used a light blanket inside and both blanket and the sack stayed in place - this is impressive because I tend to move a lot in my sleep. It's been through one wash already - no changes to report. very happy to have it. Especially appreciate the pillow pocket. I paid for standard shipping and the item arrived exactly on time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy Cotton, Less Cocoon-y, February 18, 2010
By
This review is from: Cocoon Cotton TravelSheet (Sports)
I've used this on two recent visits to friends' and both times it got some interesting looks! Is it a sheet? Is it a sleeping bag? It manages to be a little of both. The cotton is a nice weight, breathable and a nice feel. Part of the sack is sewn together, while a portion at the top has velcro closures. I always manage to undo the velcro mid-sleep, so that's a bit frustrating. Otherwise, a smart purchase for travelers.

I thought these sheets would be great, but every time I turned over the sheets got all twisted around me. I think it would be better to buy one that is bigger/wider. The material was ok, nothing crazy soft, but decent cotton.

4.0 out of 5 stars summer sleeping bag, June 7, 2010

I bought this travel sheet for a mission trip to Haiti. We were going to be sleeping on vinyl mattresses, basically camping out for 10 days. We had limited space to pack plus it's HOT down there. I didn't have space for a sleeping bag, didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a expensive summer bag. I could have packed some old twin sheets. I chose this product due to its relative low cost, light weight and compact size. It was perfect for what I needed. The pillow pocket at the top was perfect for holding everything in place. The opening was just large enough to climb in and out without being so large that the sheet would get tangled while sleeping. Even though the sheet was basically linen, it took a while to dry in the humid conditions we were in. Some nights it didn't dry at all - it sort of felt like it wicked the moisture out of the air.

I am 6'4" and 86"x35" was a great size for me. The pillow case attached to the top makes all the difference. I was staying in a hostal in Spain and they provided pillows. The pillows were supper long and big yet the case fit it and held it in place while I slept. Great sheet for traveling. I was able to pack everything in one backback for 2 weeks.
