Of the many South Pacific CDs that I bought following a trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora, this is one of the few still in my collection. It has a nice balance of being neither too amateurish nor too slick. The variety of styles and rhythms and the mix of singing and drumming are just about right. It's impossible to listen to this music without recalling the swaying trees, gentle breezes, and breaking waves that combine to make paradise.
