Product Description

Code 100 rail approximates 152 pound rail, the heavyest used by real railroads. Snap Switches have a continuous 18 inch radius curve on the diverging route unlike the numbered turnouts fixed angle of departure. This switch comes with a 1/3 18 inch radius section, making the curved leg equal to a regular 18 inch radius section. Manual turnouts change the direction of the rail only when you flip a lever on the switch by hand. Code 100, HO scale. This switch can be converted to remote control with an Atlas #53 switch machine.
