Editorial Reviews

What if a computer disc held a code so powerful that it could change the world forever? While translating the Dead Sea Scrolls, a professor discovers a hidden formula that not only unlocks all known computer encryption, but also scientifically proves the existence of God! Religions, governments and mankind itself could rise and fall based on this information. Now the faith of one man is the only thing standing in the way of unscrupulous government agents and deadly corporate mercenaries who will stop at nothing to get the disc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Outside Of Time And Space, April 24, 2008
This review is from: The Code Conspiracy (DVD)
This is a unique and mature espionage action film
with political and religious themes.
I was initially attracted by the plot.
It did not disappoint, although it has
a few holes that may or may not be filled
by another viewing.
It seems there is a code, encryption,
in the Pentateuch, the first five books
of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible for Christians,
called the Torah by the Jewish religion.
There is also keyless encryption that has
been developed by a small company.
Those obsessed with money, power and paranoid
politics want to possess and suppress the codes
for a variety of reasons.
Interesting characters and plenty of suspense
and action in addition to the political, scientific,
philosophical and theological aspects of the story
make it very entertaining.
This is a movie worthy of repeated viewing.

1.0 out of 5 stars code rediculous, October 30, 2009
This review is from: The Code Conspiracy (DVD)
A follower of Da Vinci fallout movies, I rented this garbage just to see what kind of nuts make films thinking they have insight into mystism. The first clue it is a box office flop is the cast. The entire Whettone family got together to make this conspiracy movie. Nothing like a mom and pops movie studio to wet our imagination. The opening speech by the professor was not bad. After that the movie goes down hill with inconsistencies piling up until one has no idea what is supposed to be going on. A wife cheater is the hero of this movie and we are supposed to think he is in pain when his family gets killed in a plane crash. He has in his possession a computer disc which contains a keyless cryptogram everyone wants because it can predict the future. Of course Moses is the author of the code and all you have to do is believe in god and fight evil and you will live forever. Where have I heard this before? In the end he ends with this beautiful and sexy Israeli woman and they sail off into the sunset.(sniff)

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all costs!, November 25, 2008
This review is from: The Code Conspiracy (DVD)
This movie is terrible. Perhaps you should not judge a movie by its cover. You certainly can't here. The cover has army guys, Apache helicopters, explosions, and at least a hint of DaVinci Code coolness. The movie itself actually has none of this!! Literally no army guys, no Apache helicopters, no explosions, and not a wiff of DaVinci Code coolness.

The plot is full of holes and the acting and writing are stiff. The funniest part about the whole thing is for some reason a person (maybe the director himself) wrote a few dozen fawning and glowing reviews (10 stars!) over at imdb. A conspiracy indeed.
