You have a 2 p.m. pottery class, a 4 p.m. appointment at your son's school, and you need to grab some milk on the way home. But you're out on your power walk and lose track of the time. Oh no, you forgot the class! And what were you supposed to get at the store tonight?

Don't let this happen to you. Get List Master Pro for Android.

A List for Every Occasion

Let's face it, your memory is not what it used to be. Lucky for you, this handy app picks up where your attention span left off, helping you remember all those important details. Keep track of it all with customized lists for a variety of situations: to-do entries, inventories, books, movies, or just a generic compilation. You make the call.

Each kind of list contains its own characteristics. For example, a shopping list will include note fields for Price and Quantity, so you don't have to create them yourself. You can also add custom fields to any list type.

Speak, Memory

It's always a bit of a pain to type on your smartphone's tiny keypad. Get rid of that problem with List Maker Pro's dependable voice recognition. Just hit the microphone icon at the bottom-right of the screen and you can speak your list title. Up pops the text. You can do the same for any field in the list. It's that easy. (Your device must support voice recognition.)

A Host of Functionality

With List Master Pro you can create sub-lists with sub-notes, set daily reminders, import and export lists as a spreadsheet, share lists via e-mail, and back them all up to your SD card. Keep all your lists and notes in one place and keep your life organized with List Master Pro.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little bit of a let down November 20, 2011
I have been thinking about creating an app for a home inventory like movie collections etc. Then this morning I get up and this is available so i got all excited. I think the app has a great beginning but is missing some important features. First, all fields should be customizable. Some of the field names cannot be edited. Next you should be able to add and/or delete fields. This way you do not have a bunch of extra fields showing up on your custom lists. It also needs more field types, like drop down list is an important one. Remember we are on android devices, except for the occasional tab most people are using these on a phone. The less typing the better. That being said this is something that the developers can do rather easily and hopefully they can add these features in the future. If they do I will be glad to eat my words and give them a better rating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a good list app November 20, 2011
Verified Purchase
After trying some other list apps, I must say that I really like this one. I love the fact that you can organize lists into categories such as shopping or grocery. It will then give you different options such as price to fill in neatly. The only thing that I would like to see is a widget for the home screen. Overall a great app, especially for free.

4.0 out of 5 stars a more free-form to-do/project list November 20, 2011
By n0estoy
this app is great if you are looking for a more free form program than the astrid-type to do list. greatest features for me were the ability to link tasks to different lists and the ability to create sub tasks. no task reminders available last time I checked and the author said it wasn't a planned feature.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good as a work list, but not shopping. November 20, 2011
Verified Purchase
This will be great for my work related lists but for shopping, I use Taskos. When I check off something in Taskos, it goes gray and drops to the bottom of the list. Need to add something back to the list? Just un-check it. I never have to start a new shopping list.
With this one, I end up with checked off items mixed in with active items and can be confusing.

4.0 out of 5 stars VERY customizable list app! November 20, 2011
Verified Purchase
Previous reviewers complained that the list categories weren't customizable enough. They obviously didn't dig deep enough.

Try menu>settings>edit list types

As far as "needing" a widget, I'm not sure why.

Try long-press home screen>shortcut>List Master Pro and select the list you for which you want a shortcut (you obviously need to set up some lists first.)

If you want something prettier than a shortcut, there are apps that allow you customize your shortcuts to make them look however you want. If you're looking for functionality, just use the shortcuts.

Overall, a great app.

SAD TO SAY I must update my otherwise favorable review of this app. IT NEEDS AN EXIT BUTTON. I find it HIGHLY ANNOYING and somewhat suspicious when an app doesnt provide that simple feature. Understand, I now find I wont even use the app because I WILL NOT be forced to take the time for all the extra steps it takes to go to my phones Settings, then to Apps / Manage Apps, scrolllllllll allllll the way down to find THIS app in the list, click on it, and then scroll to the Force Close button, click that, and exit out of that and then out of my Settings and close the folder I house them in. Really... should I have to go through THAT every time I want to access, lets say, my grocery list just to add one stinkin bunch of bananas?? All apps should have EXIT BUTTONS. Why?? If all apps felt they were the exception to this courtesy, theyd all "not be running/open," but theyd all collectively be using the internal memory of which they have no business using if I want to CLOSE THE APP BECAUSE I AM THROUGH WITH IT UNTIL THE NEXT TIME I WANT TO USE IT. I emailed the developer about this, first mentioning that there is no Exit button, and asked why I needed to Force Close it through Settings. His prompt reply was to educate me on the android platform, making no mention of the Exit Button part of my email (so I assume theyre not working on adding one anytime soon), and basically blamed it on android by telling me "thats how android works" so that you can go back to an app using the Recent Apps menu button. He made NO mention that should I choose to go back to the app even after using an exit button, it would still be listed there and just reopen in one second.

IMO, a standalone, non-syncing app such as a simple list maker NEEDS AN EXIT BUTTON.

2.0 out of 5 stars ? July 1, 2014

I used to really, really like this app. I don't know what happened or when, but I'm not able to edit any of the list properties, copy the lists, etc.. Just add and delete. Literally that's it! Pretty lame for a pro version.

Simple to use, yet extremely powerful. Love it. I've been using the free version for quite some time. In my list of top essential apps. Thanks Amazon for putting such a useful app up as Free Paid App!
