Queens is not nearly the atrocity against freedom other reviews have made it out to be. OH WAH. My fanservice crack manga has been altered to better suite the tastes and morals of another country, a country where this sort of thing would priarily be targetd to a young audience despite the age range. The publishers know this, and know a mother will be more likely to fork over the dough if there ISN'T a girl's butt hanging out on the front cover. Truly, if seeing a little of C.C's rear is that important to you, you have issues.

Queens was entertaining and endearing. The titulating cover is somewhat misleading, but having already read Knights, I was expecting it, and thus it didn't bother me. I found the stories to be hilarious, and was glad for once to see the ladies used besides sex objects by the fandom

This manga is simply hilarious. It's short stories about the characters of Code Geass and is more entitled for the eyes of guy, even though females may enjoy it too. What people don't really know is that Queens is Comic Anthology for male while Knights is Comic Anthology for female. Is basically all the characters doing silly stuff or flirting with Lelouch like a harem type of deal. The anime drawings are done well and the stories are great. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Code Geass and looking for a good laugh.

Code Geass: Queen, like Knight, is an anthology of short, humorous stories written about Code Geass characters. They're a tad ridiculous but are all amusing (and some are downright hilarious). The cover suggests fanservice but don't expect much. Queen is far more about jokes than titillation. Still, I would recommend it to any Code Geass fan with a sense of humor.

Code Geass Queen is a manga that is made by the fans for the fans. It is a doujin and has no affiliation with the actual series. Saying that you should know this when deciding on a purchase.

Volume 1 of Code Geass Queen has some decent little stories in it but be aware that certain things are different from the original Japanese version.

The cover listed on amazon for the manga volume is actually the Japanese version of the manga. The english version of the manga is quite different. Now for the majority these few things I mention will not be a huge problem but for some you will find it disgusting that Amazon or Bandai could resort to such measures.

Amazon is falsely (and knowingly...so is Bandai Entertainment) displaying the japanese cover of the manga. On the japanese version of the series C.C.'s skirt does not actually cover her entire ass. On the english edition version of the manga (picture can be found on "rightstuf") that is no longer the case. Bandai Entertainment has censored the very slight "ass showing". Instead they made her skirt longer. In effect this is censorship and as a stout opponent against censorship I can not promote this title.

If it were just the cover and they had the original inside that would be better but rather instead the manga is actually quite a number of pages smaller than the japanese counterpart and has other instances of censorship (a page with kallen for one example).

Because of this false advertising and the censorship of the series I cannot recommend this title or any of the series without first warning people of this fact. The stories are decent and not very funny which is sad (not sexy either which apparently the series was aiming for).

As such I would give this title a 0 of 5 stars if I could.

However a few of the plots were decent so I will give it a 1.

Be cautious when buying anything from bandai entertainment in the future.
