I needed teaching materials for the novel Code Talker by Joseph Bruchac and decided to give this a try. I'm using the materials with an accelerated 6th grade reading class, and so far the study guide has provided a great opportunity for class discussion and review of the novel. The quizzes I have used so far have also been good for helping me judge the students' understanding of the novel and offered some great ideas for discussion. If you plan to use the novel in a classroom setting for students in grades 6-8, I would definitely recommend these materials. We were able to hit the ground running with these learning materials.

Super basic. I was disappointed with the simplicity of the questions and the lack of critical thinking. It basically is filled with super simple recall questions and some very basic vocabulary. If you are going to be using Code Talker for the first time and need some curriculum components readily made, this will get you started; however, I think you will definitely be much more satisfied with what YOU as an instructor create. This is definitely NOT Common Core quality curriculum.
