5.0 out of 5 stars The Kids (Next Door) Are All Right, December 24, 2005
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Codename Kids Next Door for PlayStation 2 (Video Game)
Compared to "Operation: S.O.D.A." for Game Boy Advance, "Operation: V.I.D.E.O.G.A.M.E." is really cool.

Oddly rated "E10+", it has very smooth gameplay, terrific graphics, and lots of great unlockables via secret codes and other "special" ways in the game. What's really neat is that I get to see a lot of the characters in a 3-D form; just like in "Ed, Edd, & Eddy: The Mis-EDventures".

In this game, you play as the KND operatives from Numbuhs One through Five battling every villainous villain known to these intrepid children. Not only you can get and utilize various 2x4 technology weapons like in the show, you get the other aformentioned unlockables including swell cut scenes, concept art, sneak peeks of the KND Trading Card Game, costume options for each character, boss simulations, and weapon upgrades. The key to getting these options in the "Top Secret" portion in the game is to collect enough Rainbow Monkeys and performing "special" feats in each and every level.

I like how they rendered it all together from the original show design to the authentic voiceovers from the show. It almost seems you're really watching the show itself. Apart from the somewhat brutal fighting agaist the minions and the high-flying shooter levels featuring Numbuh Two, this is one Cartoon Network game to have. That and the Eds' game, too.

No matter what console system you have, this is one game to own. And if that's not enough, an upcoming Kids Next Door DVD has some very useful secret codes for this game. Keep your eyes open for even more useful codes for the game. I know I will.

This game is good but sometimes you have to put your brain to work. The reason why this game is E10+ is because they have a lot of bathroom jokes. Overall: good

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game For All People!, June 10, 2008
A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Codename Kids Next Door for PlayStation 2 (Video Game)
The game was really fun. I enjoyed the game very much, because you can play as all Numbahs 1-5 from the show and even Numbah 86. This game you might say, "Oh, it's just another terrible game from the show, i've played tons of games from TV shows and they aren't fun!". But give this game a chance, its more than just a action/humor game, IT'S A REALLY FUN GAME! I like how they used (I think) the original voice talents from the show. The humor they squeeze out makes the action seem more and more deeper (like when Numbah 4 was stuck in snot and needed to use the bathroom he accidently had an accident). The graphics are good but, I wouldn't reccomend the game for people who don't like playing games that have bad graphics. It's kind of a long game with 14 levels and secrets to collect. What brought a smile to my face was when I found out that when your in the "Top Secret Page" you can actually play as the villians (yes I said villians not violins) from the game. The game was somewhat challenging bringing in Brainwork on some levels and other Stratergies on other levels. This game is really fun. If you don't like action/humor games then rent it first.
