5.0 out of 5 stars Although some "signs" are questionable as far as intent, he has definitely done his homework.
This is a well researched and documented book with plenty of evidence to support the authors claims. I have to admit, as does the author, some of the pictures show people giving "illuminati" hand gestures and poses that might be completely innocent. Some people, like myself, simply repeat gestures because we grew up with or currently hang around people who do things...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good points are overshadowed by over analysed material
Let it be said, this book does a VERY VERY good job of docuementing the secret code world of the occult and mystery schools of ancient civilizations, the last 400 years , and modern day. This is probably one of the most extensive organized collection of this information ever assembled.

The occult world is full of circles, triangles, squares, gestures, numbers...

This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
This is a well researched and documented book with plenty of evidence to support the authors claims. I have to admit, as does the author, some of the pictures show people giving "illuminati" hand gestures and poses that might be completely innocent. Some people, like myself, simply repeat gestures because we grew up with or currently hang around people who do things that we mimic without thinking about it. However, the rest of the signs, poses, and pictures are very clear in their intent and a reasonable person wouldn't be able to confuse them with anything else. The picture of Pat Robertson on page 88 is a great example because who the heck would pose for a picture to be on the cover of a major magazine and curls their hand into a claw shape in front of their heart? There's plenty of pictures to show that the world isn't what it appears to be, it's worse.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have for any student of history and secret societies, February 21, 2006

The Codex Magica, with its hundreds if not thousands of illustrations clearly lays out the relationship between occult societies and present day government. Though your friends may think you crazy at first, this book (usually on my coffee table)will be one they will not put down. This large book is indexed to make research on specific people and topics easy. It's a must have for anyone who's even curious about occult influences in the political world.

I was enjoying this book as a summer read kinda thing, and I came across several mistakes..big ones. The biggest so far is that Helen Keller was the developer of sign language for the deaf! She was not as most of us know, but it made it convenient to fit her into the illuminati. Nice pictures, and the reproduced articles from obvious sources are pretty good, but as soon as you start running into misleading info, then any book that claims to expose anything is cast into doubt. I also noticed some of the handshakes just look like regular handshakes, frankly. I mean what good does it do to have to decode a book of decoding? Take what you have already learned and then apply it to some of the content in this book and it becomes just another vague rung on the step to exposing the big picture. Worth the money, though and a fun read, just double check the facts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge amount of information, May 18, 2007
This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
While I don't agree with everything the author states in his book, I did find the information inside to be copious and relevant to the subject at hand.

I give this book 5 stars because it delivers everything it promises.

If you want to know about Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati then look no further than this most informative, picture laden book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent exposé, February 21, 2006
This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
Those who doubt the truth of what Marrs has clearly illustrated are the people who tend to be skeptical of Orwell, Solzhenitsyn, and a whole host of other researchers who have dug out the truth, and have been bold enough to publish it openly for the world to see. God help us if we ignore the truth about the kings, presidents, moguls and magnates who have plotted to control, possess, and destroy the people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvelous research, February 21, 2006
This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
To see with your own eyes the people who are running our country and what goes on in the inner circles of not just the local gov't but the whole world. It's nice to know and watch the media as they display their real selves and intentions displayed in this book. It lets us know just who is who and what to watch for to keep informed and what to believe and what not to. "Codex Magica" certainly opened my eyes to the truth about our leaders and the elite. It had to take a lot of research to get the results of this book and keep it upright. I enjoyed it very much and recommend it to anyone interested in truth.

Let it be said, this book does a VERY VERY good job of docuementing the secret code world of the occult and mystery schools of ancient civilizations, the last 400 years , and modern day. This is probably one of the most extensive organized collection of this information ever assembled.

The occult world is full of circles, triangles, squares, gestures, numbers and colors...however, So everyone eles's world.
The collection of over 1000 photo's of political, relligious and famous people doing claimed occult symbols and signals is amazing many of the pictures are seemingly blatantly obvious and you will have a hard time even convincing yourself it's coincidence, however ultimatley left up to interpretation. There are in the end only so many ways to arrange the body for a photograph

Some of it...is just stupid. Pictures of Metallica giving the el diablo (heavy metal horns), Tommy Lee "crossing" his hands over Snoop Dogg from behind, magazines ads with a triangle, A young 19 year old olympic snowboarder giving the horns after winning a medal, and business leaders on covers of magazines is not solid evidence many of these people are practising occultism.
It is in the end more of a reflection of this authors belief system and world view.

The fact the occult is real and that many people practise it and that there is such thing as political agenda's, bad people in the world is true. Whether or not it is the running force of the world is a matter of faith and faith alone.

If your a Christian, or you believe in the Illuminati (like myself) this book is for you. But even still you will have to admit many of the pictures are conjecture.

Anyone eles...I expect laughter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Signs Used by the Elite Revealed and Explained, February 21, 2006
By
This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
Rev. Marrs reveals secret signs that we see everyday in the media by members of the elite. This book reveals them all and gives a great explanation to the meaning of it all. We should not be the trusting sheep that we are and that is very clear. This book is a must - most definitely for non-Christians and especially for those who claim to be "not religious." This country and each individual must fight to be saved and truly pay attention to what is going on around us instead of the nonsense created to divert our attention - L

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucifer: The plan for world domination, July 19, 2006
This review is from: Codex Magica: Secret Signs, Mysterious Symbols, and Hidden Codes of the Illuminati (Paperback)
This book will awaken the American Patriot. Have you ever wondered why N.O.R.A.D. stood down on 9-11, or why we have less and less freedom every day. It's because of a One World Order movement, one Government, one Religion, one World. Just like the book 1984, by George Orwell. Reading this book will allow you to see the inner workings of what really goes on in our Government. I would highly recomend this book.
