Our entire family loves this book. We were thrilled to find a book to help explain to our just turned 3 year old what his milk allergy is all about. He loves it! And asks to read it each night. I'm going to send it to preschool as well, so that the teachers there may inform the other children about why my son eats different foods than them. All in all a great book..easy to follow...great animations...don't wait...buy it now!

My 4 yr old daughter loves this book. It has helped her to understand and remember her milk allergy! She can name many things that she is allergic to after reading this book.

I purchased this book for my 3 year old son who was recently diagnosed with a milk allergy. He absolutley loves this book and in fact sleeps with it most nights. This book is basic and informative and helps a child understand what a milk allergy is. I hear comments from my son, "does this have cow's milk in it" and when I say yes he goes OK- Cody can not have cow's milk either. This book has been a great help in teaching my children about milk allergies. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to explain a milk allergy to a child.

My son is allergic to milk and I am so happy to have found this book. I have bought books in the past about peanut allergy, but he is not allergic to peanut, so they have not worked well for us. This book is wonderful for kids just starting school. It is very child friendly and easy to read.

I love this book because my little boy completely relates to Cody. He is almost three and after two readings he is already reciting the book to me. Cody like my son has a mom dad and baby sister, he drinks rice milk, he likes soccer, he gets a rash when he drinks milk, and my son's favorite line is "Cody is a cool cow"! When I read this book and we talk about the fact that Cody can not drink cows milk his face lights up. It is a wonderful teaching tool and helps my son know that he is special and he is not alone in having food allergies! This book was written for him!

Like this book and the cute story it tells. Had seen it at one of my allergy support groups. We've started reading it to our child so that they can get used to feeling that it's o.k. to have a food allergy. They're only 2 so we've got a ways to go before they understand everything but it is a cute story. My friend wants to borrow it to read to her 3 year old so that he can understand a bit more what his friend is going through. So cute, great to share with a preschool, kindergarten or any younger children who have or know someone who has a food allergy. Hopefully this will introduce kids to this situation so that they don't bully their food allergy friends.

My daughter loves this book. It is easy to draw the connection between her allergies and Cody's and the things we have to do to prevent an allergic reaction.

Loved this book. Our daughter is allergic to milk/diary and, at the age of two, we are trying to teach her what food allergies are. This book is a great teaching tool.

This is a cute book about milk allergies. Thankfully, my son does not have severe allergy to milk so some of the information in it does not apply to him. However, I can see how this would be a great book for school libraries and classrooms.

My three year old has multiple food allergies and he loves this book. It's hard for him to understand why he has to be different this book he likes reading about someone just like him. I think this book does a great job of making an allergic child feel special and also explains that an allergy is no ones fault. My child brought his book to preschool to show to the children there, I think any book by this author would be a great thing to have in a class that has a child with food allergies. I would recommend this book to anyone with a child that has dairy allergies.
