That sums up Cody, who like our foster dogs, were no longer wanted by their owners. But the reason why cody's former owners dumped him is written in a letter: He sheds like crazy, pulls on the leash, jumps up, and barks for hours. Lizzie and Charles Peterson are very good with dogs. they love their own puppy, Buddy, but they are always willing to find the perfesct forever home for a pup. So when Cody is left in front of the Peterson's house, Lizzie offers to help. The puppy may have a lot of energy, but that's no reason for his owners to abandon him. Can she convince the perfect owner to adopt this pup? Find out in CODY! This is the 13th book in the Puppy Place series. Read them all! they are ALL great. I like this book because it's fun, entertaining, and the author does a really good job making it sound like our house when we foster puppies(Even though she isn't writing about our house).I also like it, because it isn't going to go in to a long lecture of details about who the Petersons are and everything, but it explains them briefly and nicely. The only thing I wish it had is pictures. But I like it anyway because it talks about what the puppy is feeling, and what the person is feeling. Which I think is cool. I'm 12 going on 13.
