Suburban Snapshot of Murder,

Liked:
The writing in this novella was very well done. In succinct prose, we learn of a murder in a suburban neighborhood. One woman has suspicions and tries to find out the truth. Disliked: It's hard to describe the issues that I had with this story without giving spoilers, so I will just sum it up as: Loose Ends. There were just some things that were left either unexplained or not made clear. Overall: A quick read with a good plot. Length: Novella 501 Locations Rating: PG

Please don't waste your time with this book. Actually, I can't really call it a book because it was only about 80 pages long, which is more of a novella. The story was ridiculous, characters unlikeable, and no buildup of suspense or development of plot. Horrible!

I have to agree with the other reviewer about loose ends. Difficult to understand what really happened especially when Bill talks about Neva being strong. What could easily have been a 5 star doesn't quite make it because of this. Very well written otherwise.

Really thought I might like this novella when I started reading it. I didn't. The characters are unpleasant. I couldn't really relate to any of them or to their neighborhood. Seemed like an old story line that has been told before.

This was my first book on my new Kindle, and it was sooo disappointing! Cardboard, unbelievable characters, flat narrative style, poor resolution...and a really poor "take" on the 60's. If it was a paper book, I'd return it!
