Book Description

July 15, 2009
For five years Coffeehousefiction.com has sponsored The Fifteenth Dame Lisbet Throckmorton Fiction Writing Contest, a contest open to all genres, with the only requirement that the writing be disarming and original. Now, for the first time, five authors have been hand-picked from the 2009 contest. This years winning stories feature a couple struggling to recapture a feeling; a futuristic society; a Southern-style romance; a detective s entanglement with an unusual suspect and a glimpse of Native American apocalypse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet September 2, 2009
Format:Paperback
I had forgotten how nice it is to have an anthology of short stories to pick up now and again for a quick read. Of course the Ed note reminded me that I can always curl up with my iPhone or laptop to read short stories online, but somehow I never do. Problem is, I already blew threw the few stories that were in there so I guess I'll have to go online or buy another book or get cable or something. I really enjoyed the book while it lasted.
