Amazon was prompt with their service and the shipping -- even though I was living in Alaska! The bag is amazing, and I take it to work and everywhere else with me every day. Quality is excellent, and I'm buying more saddleback products as soon as I can save up for them. Would recommend to more people.

After looking for the perfect bag I settled on this brand. The attention to detail and quality is something you just don't see these days. Strong and beautiful cuts of leather that gets better with age. I have been stopped by total strangers and been complemented on this bag. Yes, the bag is on the heavy side, but I wouldn't trade the quality or thick leather for a lighter bag.

Shipping is prompt and customer service is great. I have absolutely no complaints (and no buyers remorse!). This bag is worth every penny and I'd do it again and again. I'm already justifying why I need another Saddleback bag.

It's an incredible bag, the only things I'd want people to know before purchasing are the following.

The bag itself is heavy. I bought the next size down and it fit the 15in MacBookPro more snugly then I would like, so I replaced it with this bag.

Since these are handmade, the centerpiece of leather separating the two compartments is slightly too wide causing it to bend rather than pulled taut.

First off, yes, it is expensive. That being said however, it is hard to describe the caliber of workmanship or overall character of this 15" medium `thin' briefcase by Saddleback Leather; it is by far the finest case I have ever owned in the last forty years.

It is heavy, sturdy, and indestructible as well as great looking.

And, I now know why Dave Munson (the owner of Saddleback Company) warrants this, and all his goods for that matter, for 100 years. When the case arrived within a few days of ordering I was just overwhelmed with the total craftsmanship of this piece. Frankly its quality, from tanning to stitching, is better than expected or expressed in the website. The only downside is, of course, now my wife wants a (satchel style) case for her own... :-)
