Book Description

November 1998
Coffee Lover's Bible gives you all the tips you need to master the fine art of selecting ad brewing, to learn the fine points of arabica and robusta beans, and distinguish French brews from Middle Eastern from American. It offers a generous sample of coffee facts, lore, and trivia to share over your favourite brew, and 101 recipes for everything from drinkables to desserts to savoury chicken dishes. Try recipes with liqueurs to create Kahlua Toreador, Irish Cappuccino, or American Cafe. Refresh yourself with Creole Coffee Ice Cream Punch or a Cool Caffeine Smoothie. Trip out in desserts to die for, such as Chocolate Truffle Gateau, Agnes's Mocha Velvet Pie, or Six-Layer Toffee Torte.

More About the Author

Jill Yates was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. A graduate of Portland State University, she has written professionally for over 20 years. When the coffee craze took off in the Pacific Northwest, her curiosity for the popular brew inspired her to write Coffee Lover's Bible. Because of her love for tea it was only a matter of time before Tales Of A Tea Leaf followed.

Jill is currently working on a book about comfort food combined with motherly wisdom called, "Don't Talk with Your Mouth Full," and one on life lessons learned from dogs and also a series of Maximum Max children's books.

In addition to nonfiction, she enjoys writing screenplays and is actively seeking representation for four screenplays: a romantic comedy, "Abbey Rhodes;" two comedy-dramas, "Wishful Thinking" and "Call Me When You Get There;" and her new screenplay, "Wild's Run," a drama based on the novel by her husband.

Jill lives in Southwest Washington with her husband, writer Gregory Yates, and Maximum Max
