Not as advertised,

This is not the normal Coffee People Extra Bold Kona Blend. I've ordered this product before and been very happy with it. When I received this I found "island blend" written in very small print at the bottom of the label- it turns out that this means it has a macadamia nut flavor added that dramatically changes the taste. Some people like flavored coffees but I can't stand them. This change isn't noted anywhere in the listing and it really needs to be.

I have had my Keurig for a couple of months and am still trying different types and brands of k cups. So far I have tried probably 20 different k cups and I would say the Coffee People Kona is my favorite so far. To me this coffe is strong in flavor, but mild in bitterness. It has a real nice richness to it and a strong nutty flavor. It has a hint of hazlenut flavor to me. I was surprised at the light color of this coffee and was afraid it would taste watery the first time I brewed it...but I was pleasantly surpised by the rich flavor. I used the 9.5 large size on brewer, and typically like the bold flavors of k cups. I definately recommend this coffee and hope it comes available in the future. I consider myself lucky to have bought it while it was available.

This is simply the best - and we have many who agree. For anyone who likes their coffee black and just wants to enjoy an awesome cup of coffee - this is the one. We have many preferences in our house for flavors, sweeteners, dark roasts, etc. - but when it comes down to just plain coffee - we all agree this is the tops. Rich consistent flavor with that smooth Hawaiian Kona low acid aftertaste. I'm practically licking the last drop out of the cup!!!! Highly recommended.

Coffee People K-Cup Extra Bold Kona Blend, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)The convenient K-Cups used for Keurig Coffee machines is wonderful. The Extra Bold Kona Blend is a medium to strong brew, perfect for after dinner. With the B60 Keurig you get to choose the strength, and I've tried all three. This coffee stands out even when used with milk. The Kona Blend by Coffee People is not bitter but smooth, yet carries a nice punch!

I don't know what the previous reviewer received, must have been a mis-filled order. There is nothing remotely "flavored" about the cups I got - except bold and rich coffee flavor. These are more robust than the Timothy's version and on a par with Green Mountain's (higher priced and hard to find) product. Just bold enough for me at the 8 oz. setting and my wife gets two 8 oz. cups out of each serving and says it is great.I have added this to my regular subscriptions.

A little strong for a black coffee drinker,

I bought this coffee based on the first review. I agree, it's bold without being bitter. Being a black coffee drinker, it's a little too strong for me. I prefer a more mellow cup. All part of the adventure of trying new k-cups.

The Coffee People K-Cup Extra Bold Kona Blend is a nice, bold, strong, full bodied delicious coffee without bitterness. My favorite coffee has always been Starbucks House Blend and to the best of my knowledge it is not available in k-cups. Therefore, I've always looked for something equal or close to it.This coffee is giving me the flavor and taste I've been looking for. My wife and I both love it. If you like like a good strong, bold, full bodied coffee without bitterness you'll love it too. I highly recommend it!

While I've generally been impressed with most Coffee People brews this one has left me a bit disappointed. My guess is that there's very little Kona in this blend and I find it both a bit weak (particularly for an Extra Bold) and acidic. Won't be trying it again.
