Senseo just stopped selling the pods in the US, and short of clearing the shelves every time I see a few bags at the grocery store, I was about to be in need of a solution or a new coffee maker! I've only used these twice so far, but they are simple and fool-proof. I did find that using the two pod holder works best as it seems to need about 2 tablespoons of coffee. I'll definitely be buying more!

First of all, let me say that the ordering process with Amazon is second to none. Amazon is awesome. However, I made the mistake of ordering this item. With the reviews and general information provided, I assumed that there wasn't anything else needed to create the pods, except for the coffee. Well, a $40+ Pod Maker is required to seal the pods. Since I am the only one in the household drinking coffee, and at 1 cup per day, I find it to be unreasonable to purchase the Pod Maker. Instead, I have moved on to a much better purchase. For less than $20, I found the Black & Decker DCM18S Brew 'n Go Personal Coffeemaker with Travel Mug to be the best investment. The Brew 'n Go has a reusable filter and lets you make a small or large cup of coffee, or any size in between and has a dishwasher-safe stainless steel travel mug. On a more positive note, the shipping on these pod filters was prompt, with the package and contents in excellent condition.

I bought these wondering if my pod making days were over. The shipping on the Perfect Pod filters is so outrageous that I might as well be buying Keurig Cups. Much to my surprise, these are professionally packaged and work better than the Perfect Pod filters. To make it even better, the shipping is free with Amazon Prime. I'm ordering 10 more boxes.

Guess ignorance is bliss...until I read these reviews, I was unaware that you were supposed to seal these. I have been using them with my Hamilton Beach single cup server for a week. The first time used everything was perfect. The coffee maker has a double pod stacked system, so you can use one or two pods. I make 12 oz cups, so need two (plus I like my coffee strong). The next time I tried I overfilled the pods, and the water could not go thru fast enough, so it spilled over. Since then, I have been more careful. I just fit the pod into the little cup-shaped holder, carefully, and then put the grounds in, and fip the paper lid over the pod. Flip the second pod holder down over the first pod, and repeat. Have not had any problems with grounds in my coffee. I use the little plastic scoop that comes with the coffee, and fill it about 3/4 for each pod. Makes perfect coffee...inexpensively! Love these things!

I bought the Hamilton single cup coffee maker and saw that you needed pods. Once I received both I saw that you need a pod-maker, but I didn't want to dish out another $40 for a pod sealer so I using the pods as is. It works great. Maybe this is only for my coffee make, but I am able to place the pod in to the top or bottom slot of my pod holder. The bottom allows me to trap it in, but both work fine. As long as you carefully place the pod in, it should be fine. It fails once every 50 times because I put the pod in too hastily or overfilled it. Bottom line, try using the pods without the sealer and you will see it works perfectly.

I got a couple of boxes of these to try them, because the Perfect Pod ones were costing me an arm and a leg. I wasn't expecting quality...boy was I surprised! They were packed neatly and stack tidily in my cabinet. They sealed easily and completely the first time - I'm back to buy more.

I make coffee one cup at a time and grind my own beans - commercially ground coffee is hard on the stomach -even if it says low acid - I use a Hamilton Beach pod drip maker which I god for $12.00 but I see on Amazon they are more than that. Anyway less expensive than Krups or whatever the name is that they are so expensive. My daughter owns a Krups and tells me the $12.00 one is just as good. By they way I do not seal the pods - just lay in with the cover over the ground coffee and works just fine.

A little tricky, but I found that I could use my iron and fill and seal a whole box of these in about 15 minutes.

1. Grind your coffee expresso fine
2. Use the little cardboard holders that come in the box. (I actually reinforced mine with a couple of sheets of box cardboard
since I use it so often).
3. Heat your iron to a wool/steam setting.
4. Put a filter in the cardboard holder, fill it with coffee being careful to keep the edge clean.
5. Hold your iron over the filled pod until a little steam escapes and then close the filter and iron it for abt 5 seconds.

Works like a charm, no pod sealer required. Love these and use with my Hamilton Beach 1 cup pot for travel.
