With the interlocking utensils, the chow kit can be thrown in a dufflebag without much worry that the pieces are going to perferate your luggage or accidentally impale anyone. These are a classic favorite for anyone who's been away at sleepover camp or who has gone camping outdoors.

My less than perfect rating stems from the butter-knife quality of the knife - not sharp enough to saw through imperfectly cooked and very tough meats on an outdoor fire - and the locking mechanism is far from perfect. After you use these enough, there's a little bending that occurs and the utensils never lock right back into position the way they did when you first bought them.

This is the cheapest camp stainless silverware I have seen. pieces bend very easily. The fork tines weren't staight when I received this. I don't plan on using it.

This is a cheap set that is good for keeping in my work locker for lunch time. The sheath that came with it needed some duct tape to reinforce it some. I also purchased a couple "hobo knife" type items and while this item is the cheapest made its open construction makes it easier to clean thoroughly quickly (if this a concern to you).
