While I thought this would be a neat thing for my cooler once I installed it I pretty much knew it would not last. If you have a lot of stuff in your cooler and fill it with ice someone will slam the lid and break this or detach it rendering it useless. This is really an impractical item unless there was a recessed area for it to be placed in the bottom of the lid.

I was very excited about this light. First off, you have to stick it in just the correct location for it to work.. Problem is, once you stick it and take it off, it won't go back. We were camping and couldn't get it to work by opening the door, so went to move it and it wouldn't stick back. So, we just through it in the cooler. You oculd pick it up and jiggle it around(if you could see to find it that is) and it would light up. That part worked fine, but after sitting in ice water all night it rusted and didn't work again. I would just recommend setting a lantern next to your cooler or throwing some glow sticks in there. It would be just as effective.

This is a great product! VERY simple to install and works as described. I use this in my cooler that I take camping. Lots of light to find your beverage and you don't have to juggle a flashlight at the same time.

I have one of these in all of my coolers and they work great. Whether I am at home having a party or out camping these sure make is easy to find my drink or food in the cooler at night. They stick on and stay and the light is bright enough to see by but not too bright so you don't get blinded. Now all my friends want them so I'm stocking up for Christmas.

Recently received the cooler light as a little surprise for my husband. He loves it and we just ordered 8 more so we could give them to his brothers and sister. Many late nights camping and holding a flashlight between our teeth while digging in cooler are gone! Fun item. Would recommend.
