No eggs have been broken.

They are less expensive than the similar product by Coleman, and just as good.

Decent quality plastic, and the clips hold well.

i actually bought one of these locally at a W-store for $2.88 (sorry amazon). I took this on an army field exercise recently and it really surprised me. I put it in my small cooler (had to cut the handle off to get it to fit) and after 2 days in the back of a humvee bouncing around off-road, not one egg had cracked.

Keeps our eggs intact in the cooler on camping trips. Kinda nice because we can jam this carton into a tightly packed cooler and not worry about losing eggs/making a big mess. We'd give it 5 stars, but i kind of expected this item to be watertight (when ice melts in the cooler and this carton is at the bottom, water will seep into the closed container; not sure if eggs can be stored in cold water for long periods of time, but our eggs the next morning were fine on the griddle). Even though the case isn't watertight, we haven't lost an egg to breakage, so this is doing its job. Plastic is pretty durable and it does rinse out cleanly.

We took this camping with us, and it works really well. I have two coolers, one for food, and the other for drinks. I put the eggs near the bottom so they would stay cold. With everything layered on top, not one egg was broken. A good product and worth spending money on because there is nothing like eating eggs in the morning when camping!

I used this Egg Carrier for the first time last weekend on a camping trip. On the way out I carefully placed the carrier at the top of our large cooler and covered it with ice sheets. Not one egg was broken the next morning when we opened the case to make breakfast despite all the jostling around in the car and afterwards to find other things in the cooler. We had a few eggs leftover and when I opened the case when we got home one of the remaining four eggs had a slight visible crack on top but not enough to where it was oozing out. I admit I wasn't as careful packing the cooler out as I was on the way to the camp site so it was partially my fault, this is not a magical egg carrier that will protect your eggs from anything but if you are careful with it , it will keep all your eggs from cracking. I read a few reviews that said this carrier did not fit large eggs..I'm not sure if they were trying to fit ostrich eggs or some other type but as far as I could see they should fit regular, large chicken eggs.

I bought one of these at a local sporting goods store. same brand, different price.

It does what is says it will do. It'll protect a dozen eggs from ROUTINE jostling.

As another reviewer said, the only difference between this and Coleman's is color and price.

I ordered this because so many people are raising chickens these days. My mom and my boss are always given away eggs. These are really handy and I don't have to worry about the eggs getting smashed in the process.

We do a lot of camping and we always bring a carton of eggs and they're always the first thing to disintegrate and get soggy in the cooler. This totally eliminates that problem and you don't have to worry about cracking the eggs anymore. I really like it. The only downfall is once you cook the eggs with a normal carton you can throw it out and this continues to take up precious space but I still think it's worth the convenience.
