A very plastic toy,

This review is from: Coghlan's 7 Function Binoculars for Kids (Misc.)
The biggest problem with this toy is that it is, so to say, VERY plastic. It looks extremely fragile, and I expect the kids will break it up sooner or later (probably rather sooner than later). On the 2nd day one of the lenses fell off; I tried to glue it back, but was not careful enough, and touched the surface of the lens with glue. As the lens is also plastic, it damaged it irreversibly, so a binoculars turned into a monocular in that moment.
The kids (3.5 years old) like thing thing though. They carry it everywhere. I think they like that it looks complicated, that you can open something, and then close something, turn it, look in it, etc. A good, albeit a rather short-living present. |
