Case examles illustrate how these techniques are used to reduce anxiety and depression, induce a fighting spirit, teach effective coping skills and develop open communication between patients and their partners. The book has been well written, particularly a clear presentation upon essential concepts about CBT. The application to cancer is also well discussed. This book can serve a very good start for any therapist hoping to apply CBT to cancer, and also give some insights about pondering how we can help people in terminal illness. Please don't miss it !
