Book Description

February 7, 2002 0195514246 978-0195514247 First Edition
Cognitive linguistics is a relatively new theory of language that challenges many of the basic assumptions of traditional approaches. Drawing on his long-standing interest in the relationship between language and perspective, Lee here sets out to make the theory accessible to readers who have no prior training in the discipline.

This review is from: Cognitive Linguistics: An Introduction (Paperback)
Very concise and detailed overviews about cognitive linguistics. But we can obtain many other books that contain the outline of cognitive linguistics, so we don't need to dare to buy this book. Whether or not cognitive linguistics is a magnificient field of study, there are too many books that outlook it. We should explore more profound study of cognitive linguistics, I guess.
