As a music therapist interested in music's impact on language acquisition in diagnosed populations, this book has provided me with an excellent view of the physiology (brain, etc) involved, and has thus enabled me to develop new insights and interventions in my work as music therapist in language development and music's potential impact upon brain plasticity in the area of human verbal communicaion.
