About the Author

Cogno Creator Stuart Montaldo, is a businessman and father who has enjoyed a lifelong fascination with space and earth sciences. To better integrate his personal and professional interests, he in 2002 founded Doublestar, LLC, a company that creates products to inspire children to think critically and imaginatively. Montaldo has been developing new products and leading new business ventures for much of his 17- year professional career. Montaldo, his wife and three children returned home to St. Louis in 2002. His two pre-teen sons both played important roles in the development of Cogno.
