Scott Cohen is the creative force behind The Green Scene, one of the fastest-growing outdoor design and construction firms in the Los Angeles area. Scott's passion for design began as a boyhood fascination with sculpture, drawing, architecture and gardening. At the age of 15, he started his own successful landscape maintenance business and began to self-teach many of the innovative landscaping methods he still uses today-more than two decades later- at The Green Scene. Since Scott took over as President and Supervising Designer in 1995, The Green Scene's volume of business has increased tenfold with no end in sight. That growth can be attributed to Scott's unique approach to creating outdoor resort-style landscape designs that reflect the personalities of the homeowners as well as the attributes of the home and yard. Nice book, but all the out door kitchens were meant for the South or extremely contemporary. None of them would have been suitable for the lifestyle up here on the countryside of New Hampshire. I wish he had included more options, they were all relatively similar. I'll keep looking.

This really is a workbook for those wanting to put in an outdoor kitchen. I can't believe all of the details Scott included. Glad we came accross this book before we wasted our time and money. Great resource! I am definitely getting it for my husband for Father's Day!
