I purchased CalorieSmart about a month ago. It's very easy to use and helps me keep track of every bite. Because of it's ease, even when I'm feeling lazy I still find that I use it. The following are my 3 favorite features:1 - The Recipe Calculator that allows you to calculate nutritional info for your homemade recipes then catalogue them per serving size.
2 - The FastFood Finder, which lets you store frequently entered foods so you can find them instantly rather than having to always look them up.
3 - Additions, this lets you list up to 1,000 food items that are not already in the vast 35,000 item database. However, the one drawback I found is that it lists these items when you enter them, NOT alphabetically. Also, in regards to the regular data base foods are note necessarily listed where you think they should be, which can make it cumbersome to look up. However, with those 2 exceptions, I am VERY VERY HAPPY with my purchase

I am kicking myself for paying over $75 for this cheap tool! To the company's credit, delivery was fast and the product does what it says, it counts calories. But that is ALL that it does. There no balance of telling you how much you should be eating to meet your health goals minus how much you've already eaten that week/day. if i had to do over again, I'd go for a different product.

I love it! The instructions are easy to understand and it's easy to use! I love the fact that you can upload data to your computer - the weight tracker chart is easy to create and it's a great visual to keep you motivated. I've only been tracking my calories for 7 days and I've already lost 3 lbs. A wise friend told me, "it's a matter of calories in vs. calories out" and boy is that true!!! The "old fashioned" way of losing weight - just keep track of the calories and this light weight gadget sure makes it easy to do!!!
