If your serious about food control
This is a much needed addition to anyone serious about controlling daily calorie intake. It is simple to use and gives a running total of what you've eaten during a day letting you stop when your close to your goal. Its small enf to carry so you can record the food as you consume...it has ample selection of foods with calorie counts making the entry fast. But it...

not working...
this item never did work with my computer...I bought a new computer several months later and it still did not work...I should have returned it but I was just so sure it was my computer....Money wasted...I never did like looking up food on it...

I bought this for my technology challenged parents (in their 70's). I think it is a fabulous little gadget. It is compact and in my opinion quite easy to use. For them, however, I will be lucky if it is used for than just a food look up tool. If for myself, I would love the feature that allows you to download all your daily diabetes related activities (i.e. food choices, nutrition info, insulin dosages and glucose readings) to your doctor for review. I liked the device, but I am not the end user. It was similar (but more detailed) to the calculator used by Weight Watchers (R).

Its small enf to carry so you can record the food as you consume...it has ample selection of foods with calorie counts making the entry fast. But it also lets you enter your own preparations. Keeps daily totals & stores by date daily & weekly. Also offers exercise & blood reading storage if you like. With it I think I can finally control my weight without having to stay on pre-defined diet. I'm glad I found it... |
