Book Description

October 2002
Why coincidences happen and what they mean has long been an object of fascination. Here, Phil Cousineau collects episodes of chance that defy explanation from the lives of real people, including Huston Smith, Tess Gallagher, and Bill Moyers. The author shows that recognizing synchronicity creates a deeper appreciation for the bonds that connect our lives.

3.0 out of 5 stars They only changed the title and the cover!,, May 9, 2005

This review is from: Coincidence or Destiny?: Stories of Synchronicity That Illuminate Our Lives (Paperback)
_This is not so much a review as it is a warning. If you are expecting this to be the possible second book of synchronicity stories that is mentioned at the back of the author's first collection (_Soul Moments_,1997) then you will be disappointed. This is exactly the same book, only with a different title and cover. Even the author's dedication is the same.

_Don't get me wrong, it is an exellent book on synchronicity- one of the best that I've read, but it is highly deceiving to repackage it again like this so soon. In fact, I can only assume that this was done to fool people into paying for the same book twice- I know that I did....

5.0 out of 5 stars Gathers over eighty stories of coincidence, February 9, 2003
This review is from: Coincidence or Destiny?: Stories of Synchronicity That Illuminate Our Lives (Paperback)
Coincidence Or Destiny? gathers over eighty stories of coincidence or synchronicity, gathered from the lives of both ordinary people and well-known scholars to illustrate how chance and meaningful coincidences can change lives. Syncronicities can offer sense from random events and can provide a sense of destiny and explanation: this collection of first-person insights is revealing.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Collection of individual, personal stories, October 10, 2007
This review is from: Coincidence or Destiny?: Stories of Synchronicity That Illuminate Our Lives (Paperback)
This is a mixed collection of various people and their personal experience with coincidence and some with destiny. Some will have more appeal than others; but overall I was very pleased with the book. -- PSM
