They create a sustained diffusion which controls contours and contrasts, as well as a harmonious explosion of super-imposed colours. This lends an unreal luminosity to landscapes and still life work. The Cokin Colored Diffuser Filters are used with a COKIN Gelatine-holder (194). Best results are obtained with three-quarter front lighting, taking care to curve the filter slightly in the direction of the subject.
