An awesome collection, November 30, 2009
This review is from: Cold As Ever (Audio CD)
This is a collection of all of Ice-T's early singles. Even some songs that were in the movie "Breakin'" (the movie sucks but the songs are pretty good) Anyway, if you are into early West Coast Electro, this is the CD for you. It's hard not to start popping and locking while listening to it. The mega-mix is stupid, so just skip it. I think this CD is better than the similiar one (Ice T "The Classic Collection") Which I also have. This CD is missing "Dog N The Wax" and "Ya Dont Quit", which "The Classic Collection" has, but "The Classic Collection" is missing Party People, Speed, Tibetan Jam, and Reckless. Get this, you won't be disapointed.

OLD SCHOOL ICE - T, June 10, 2004
This review is from: Cold As Ever (Audio CD)
Old Old School Ice!, January 11, 2004 Reviewer: Scotty from United Kingdom I bought this CD originally for 2 trax.Tibetan Jam and Reckless. These were missing from my Ice T collection and were apparrently electro classics, a scene I remember from my teenage years. The other trax on the disc were welcome bonuses.Killers is an early example of message rap in a similar vein to Grandmaster Flash and of course the classic 6 'N The Mornin',perhaps the original gangsta rap tune, is here in its original form. The only weak link in the collection is the mix at the end which is why I rated 4 stars. All in all a good collection of early to mid-eighties Ice T. 1. Party People Listen Listen 2. Cold as Ever Listen Listen 3. Speed Listen Listen 4. Tibetan Jam Listen Listen 5. Reckless Listen Listen 6. Killers 7. Coldest Rap 8. Body Rock 9. 6 'N the Mornin' 10. Cold Wind Madness 11. Ice-A-Mix
