I had a chance to see this film at a festival and was absolutely impressed by it. The characters are realistically portrayed, the tension is palpable, the film is beautifully shot on this spooky farm somewhere in the south. And the main character is the most likable and sympathetic serial killer you are likely to meet. All in all I would strongly advise people check this out if you want a tense supernatural thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

Seems as though I have a love for low budget cinema. Only when it's done right, and this one is. The atmosphere of this movie alone will keep you glued for the entire hour and twenty-three minutes.

A man by the name of J.M. comes home to find his wife having an affair. Out of one moment of anger he kills her. Of course not being able to handle what he had done, he leaves his home. He goes out to an old farm house where they had gotten married. To keep anyone from finding out his secret, he is pushed to do things he would have never thought possible.

Unfortunately I cant tell anymore about the story without giving too much away. I am impressed with yet another independent horror movie. The hauntingness of the film is unreal. The acting was well done, not all of the actors are great, but really what can we expect for low budget. The main character himself had a absurdly great way of making you feel sorry for him and liking him at the same time. The storyline is original, gripping and powerful. You can absolutely put yourself in his place, and wonder what you would have done. Could you love someone so much that within one second of rage your whole life was gone?

I am a big fan of this Genre and This is one of the better directed Suspense Thrillers I've seen. It defies a low budget production to deliver that rarest of things in film - atmosphere. And this film reeks of atmosphere, the whole production just weaves its magic spell - music - location- cinematography and direction all combine into a masterpiece. With a subtle amount of foreshadowing the story is one of real people in a real situation and was a joy to watch. Don't miss this one.

First of all, I have to say that this is a Great Movie. It not only held my interest, but it had great thrilling action that keeps you on your toes and a great story, with the ability to grab those scary emotions. The acting was good, the cinematography excellent and the music wonderful. This is a movie that I have added to my video collection and that everyone should go and see. I have to say that some people have more bad luck. Buy and watch the movie you'll love it.

Information from DVD Back Cover: J.M. didn't mean to do it, but in one insane moment he killed his wife. The trouble is he is still in love with her. Unable to cope with what he did, he flees to his sister's desolated farm, the site of his wedding just a year ago. Once there, J.M. makes the haunting realization he is not alone. This film is so well-done in so many ways- exceeding its limited budget with incredibly well-staged but not contrived shots, astounding use of available light, and a very effective minimalist score. A few really good scares and jumps too, despite the presence of cliche'ed "stings" in the score.

However, it is so let down by the cast. They're just not good enough for the material. Actors jump their cues left right and center (and this does not seem to be the fault of problems in post-production looping). It frustrating to watch, b/c the locations, and to an extent, the script cry out for better execution. It's not enough that the lead actor is very convincing when he's not speaking.
I actually watched many parts a second time with the sound off and it so clearly illustrated that, visually, the storyteling is right on target, even if it meanders a bit at times.

So, sadly, viewing this was an annoyingly unsatisfying experience.

When I watched this movie I was totally captured by the way the story was told. I really liked this story and how it was told. This story is about when someone is so "totally" in love with someone, how far will they go. Even after death. It makes you stop and think about what you would do if you found your partner with someone else. I do recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see something close to real life but also taking it to the extreme.

This is a very good little movie. I was impressed with the originality of the story. The directing and cinematography are superb. One of the actors is a little weak but fortunately he gets killed off early on. The editing is excellent. I loved the locations. It is definitely a keeper and I hope the filmmakers treat us with another one soon.

This is a thriller that won't leave you wilted and frustrated. Freezer features a strong cast, good sound and image quality developed from a tight script that is true to its characters. You could call this a low cost film; I prefer to call it priceless. I saw this film at a festival and am delighted to see it is out now on DVD. By the way, they actually call this film Freez'er. If you have seen it, you can figure out the title.

This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is horrible and the plot is non-existant. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone!
