Great game if you like a little action with your Adventure,
By Steve (Grovetown, Georgia USA) - See all my reviews

If you are like me, you like a good old fashioned Adventure game. I hate a game that I get killed over and over again. But this game isn't all that tough. Sure you can get killed. Sure there is some (not a whole lot) of action. But there is enough puzzles to be solved that make it all worthwhile. Not to mention it has a pretty good story. You start out with the opening movie with your character beaten and being tortured. You must then play the game to get to the point of being captured and tortured. The whole time I was working towards the part of being captured, I was wondering what I was going to do and how was I going to escape or if I could even escape!I very much recomend this game if you like some action, a good story, and plenty of adventure.

Very Involved Story,

If you are looking to just "lose yourself" for awhile in an exciting and enjoyable game, purchase "In Cold Blood". It's alot of fun, the graphics are beautiful, especially the cut scenes, and the ending builds to a nice rewarding climax. No, there aren't many different cerebral bore-type weapons, just a 9mm pistol, but that's not what the game's about. It more emphasizes logical challenges and puzzles that are all completely related to the storyline. Plus, the length of the game is just right. You definitely feel you got your money's worth, but it doesn't go on and on endlessly. Don't worry about what this other joker wrote about not being able to load it on his computer. Judging by his wonderful grammer and spelling, he probably just needs to splurge for an upgrade to his Commodore 64.

This game has a great storyline, and the cutscenes are in amazing quality. in-game graphics, voice-acting, and music are all great. Action and adventure are balanced throughout the game, and the difficulty is just right.

What I like most about In Cold blood is its rich storyline. The story is complex, yet very interesting, as John Cord, an M16 Secret Service agent, is sent to Volgia, USSR at the CIA's request. He is to track down a missing agent (Scott Kiefer). Cord is faced with many challenges and obstacles along the way, as nuclear war is brewing. This game has a way of drawing you into the story, and the environments are outstanding. There's a little bit of everything, from land trains, to snowy bases and submarines. The robots are nerveracking-especially the one on Kappa level. In Cold Blood has a dark tone to it, yet it has an adundance of humor along the way. John Cord has personality, which adds to the entertainment value of the game. The game is rather long, but never gets boring, and one will want to finish it because the story moves along well, and is so engrossing. I've had this game for 9 years, and once a year, I'll play it for old time's sake. I can relate to this game, because I like politics, and In Cold Blood is purely political in nature. Of course, with every good story comes a girl, and In Cold Blood delivers. The remora device on Cord's wrist is his lifeblood, and is a cool added feature that adds some texture to the game. I'm surprised that there wasn't a sequel to this game, because it's one of the better spy/espionage games. I know that this game is obsolete by today's graphical standards, but I'm compelled to review it, because it stands out as one of the best games I've ever played. If you're looking for a unique blend of adventure and action, get In Cold Blood, and immerse yourself into one of the neatest stories and environments ever offered for the PC. 9/10

A PC Game Fan,

When I got this game I thought it was cool, but when I got it was a normal role-playing game. The graphic's were fairly good. It feels like a very short game. They say it has sixty hours of game play, but it feels like only a few hours. They also need to change the content rating from "M" to "Teen". That's why I would give it two stars
