Be ready for this one..., August 13, 2007

This is not the SLGTM from Every Night, nor is it the same band from All Your Summer Songs. In fact, I sincerely doubt this is the same Fred Thomas at all. It's less Motown-meets-Wall-of-Sound, and more campfire songs on warped vinyl. And it's good, very good. After listening to the previews of it on this site, I dreaded putting it in my car stereo, but I was instantly captivated. This is both a glimpse of what will be on "Fill Up the Room" (though none of these songs will appear on that album), and a brilliant change of course.
