Rest and Elevation are easy, but how do you Ice and Compress the neck? Use a Cold OneŽ Cold Compression Cervical Neck Wrap for physical therapy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, and home care when neck injury, pain and inflammation are present. Layers 1. Outer layer of Nitrogren Blown Neoprene 2. Middle layer of sewn in re-freezable ice cells 3. Inner layer of rubber impregnated linen (protects skin from cryoburn). The wrap can be frozen in about 2 hours in a residential or commercial freezer or refrigerator freezer. Once frozen, the wrap is applied to the neck and upper shoulder area and the compression adjusted by stretching and attaching with the Velcro fastener. The neck wrap will provide icing for about 10 minutes and then gradually return to body temperature. The compression drives the cold deep into the soft tissues of the entire neck region.
