5.0 out of 5 stars Just like they say, only better..., March 21, 2001
This review is from: Cold Dread (Ghostworld 4): Cold Dread (Paperback)
Andy and Elizabeth....These two were good friends of mine, though they forever are searching for a way to get Andy home in the 4th book of the Ghostworld Series. After a tearful good-bye with friends of No. 3, the adventure starts anew with a harrowing meeting between human, ghost, and larger ghost, but you'll have to read that for yourself.

After which, we find Andy is sick, and even though his deeds have earned him a first class ticket to his home, he is unable to be transported away. Finding little hope, Elizabeth must return to where the adventure started, the living world, and find much needed medicine for her friend, and perhaps, love interest. But watch out, dear Elizabeth, as forces from the darkest depths of the after life are ready to strike at any moment.

This novel was simply amazing. I loved it, read it five times over, and will always be a mainstay in my book collection. The Siegals truly took you as far as they possible could with this work, and even if it is for a younger person, aspiring writers and even twenty-somethings could take away a lot from the theme, unrequited love, homesickness, and the triumph of good in its battle against evil....but I've said too much. Read the book to truly find out.
