Cold fX is amazing. We started ordering it 3 years ago when it was only available in Canada. Thankfully, now we can buy it at Costco or on Amazon. Since we started using Cold fX, neither my husband nor I have had a bad cold. We don't take it every day. As soon as we start to feel a twinge of a sore throat, we go on the 3-2-1 3-day regimen. Usually by the second day our sore throat is hardly noticeable, by the third it's completely gone, and no congestion or cough ever develops. It seems to prevent that tired, run-down feeling that one typically suffers from when coming down with a bug. Plus, we have had no negative side effects at all from taking it. I am reassured by the fact that there have been several clinical studies done with Cold fX and all have found it to be significantly effective and generally safe. We also haven't had the flu since we started taking it, but maybe that's just coincidence?

This is the single greatest product for help with the common cold. See my review under Cold-FX from the U.S. This product was developed first in Canada which is where I ordered it from for three years prior to it being distributed in the U.S. I have recommended it to everyone I know without hesitation, all of whom report equally terrific results. I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers yearly bouts with the common cold or flu.
What's more, it has no side effects as you experience with other cold meds, such as drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, and nervousness. Try it once and you'll be sold forever.

Ever since I read fairly decent reviews of this product in Consumer Reports, I've kept it on hand in my kitchen, at work, and in my purse. I also make sure I have a supply when I travel. I've used Cold-Fx for more than one year when I begin to get cold or flu symptoms and when I have to be around sick people. I've found that more than 90% of the time I've either averted viruses or developed only mild, relatively brief symptoms. To my knowledge more research is needed to confirm the efficacy of this product, but early trends are positive.

Haven't had a lasting cold or flu since discovering this product. Yet another example of a natural product, American Ginseng, being refined into a much more potent medicine. Read the background info on Herbtech's website and try it out, you won't be sorry. Combine with Resveratrol and you'll either miss the flu season entirely or find yourself only mildly affected for a few days.

I have been using this product on and off for a couple of years. I am VERY prone to colds. This seems to ward them off. Right now I feel like I may coming down with a cold so I have started my regimen and by tomorrow the symptoms should be gone.

Our family has been using this product for years. We in the past have purchased it in Canada and brought it South. Seems to ward off most cold/flu events and certainly shortens the length of suffering when a cold arrives.

I discovered the great benefits of this supplement when I was living in Toronto, Canada. After taking the supplement diligently(during winters 2X a day), I have not had a cold(knock on wood) for 2 straight years now.

Been using this product for a few years. Was recommended to me by a former co-worker. It does work.

First, off, the item I bought was slightly different. I bought 3 orders of 200mg, 240 capsules Cold-FX. What I received was actually 9 bottles of 200 mg, 80 caps, each. Same product, made by CV Technologies in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Received my order Nov 15, 2010 and started taking 2 caps per day as directed. Came down with a bad, I mean BAD, cold on Dec 24, 2010. Still have it today, Jan 5, despite doubling up on the Cold-FX, as well as taking straight ginseng out of the bottle, Vit C, n-acetylcysteine, zinc, beta-carotene, quercetin w/ bromelain etc.

The cold is starting to lose it's battle to my immune system now, thanks to a few ounces of colloidal silver I found in the back of my cupboard. But I personally think this Cold-FX product is worthless. I've had mild colds that last 2 days and nasty ones that last two weeks. This one is right up there with the worst--terrible chest congestion, cough, cough, cough, sneezed constantly for almost 24 hours etc Sorry I wasted my money on this crap. Going to buy more colloidal silver. Anyone want to buy 7 unopened bottles of FX?

I don't know if I had an allergic reaction to the ginseng, but I got violently ill after taking one capsule of ColdFX. I don't wish to take an other to see if it was an allergic reaction. I had severe vomiting and diareah for 8 hours straight. No one else got ill in my household, so I have ruled out food poisoning and a virus. I got ill several hours after ingesting it, so all signs point to the ColdFX making me ill. Perhaps I did not have enough food in my stomach? I am very sensitive to zinc as well. Just be careful! Eat a loaf of bread before you take it the first time, or take half the capsule!
