My Cold Steel Italian dagger arrived Wednesday and is spectacular. The workmanship is excellent with a (working - not shaving) sharp, straight blade with good symmetry and bright polish, nice sharp strong point, well made leather grip with heavy stainless steel cross guard and pommel. The sheath is wood with leather cover and steel fittings - seems well made and fits the dagger well. Unlike many copies of historic weapons I've owned, this one has a quality and heft to it that I believe would make it highly functional as well as being a beautiful re-enactment piece. Clearly not an EDC at this size, but would brighten up the eyes of a late night intruder. Never forget however, don't take a knife to a gun fight.
