Maybe swashbucklers can really say this is a huge knife, but I wasn't taken aback by it.
I'm not exactly an expert on types of steel, but the Carbon V TM was an outstanding knife with incredible strength and edge retention.
This knife is a well made, very thick, good looking knife and is razor sharp out of the box.
