The Cold Steel Pocket Shark is made from glass-reinforced plastic, Grivory, the same tough material used in Cold Steel's Nightshade Series. Built for impact with walls that are 4 times thicker than similar markers. In a self-defense emergency it can become an efficient Yawara stick for driving off an attacker. Plus, the screw-top cap will stay in place and won't pop off like a regular marker's cap would when you strike. 7/8" thick. 6 1/4" overall

This is a pen, not a weapon. But if someone happens to know what a yawara Danzan Ryu Jujitsu: Yawara And Nage With Kowami And Ukemi is, well - this is one.

Grasp tightly and unscrew the cap. It's a tight fit, with close threads. The pen writes well. Close the cap and screw it on.

When it's in one piece, be careful not to grasp it tightly in your fist and hit someone with it - that would hurt. A lot.

I waited forever for this thing to ship, but IT never came. Instead, I received some lens cleaner for someone else. When I looked up the price on here, I found out I am now out $10 for getting the wrong product. But, on the other hand, my Sharkie (white version) is great. Exactly what everyone says-an indestructible military grade self defense marker. Buy one, but make sure you get what you ordered.
