I recently bought this and a few other knives from Cold Steel. It definately has a great feel in the hand and looks fantastic. I have no complaints thus far with any part of the knife, it arrived razor sharp, the locking mechanism operates smoothly and is very firm and strong, and it's aggressive styling make it hard to take ones eyes off of it. As long as the steel is as superb as Cold Steel claims and the knife isn't abused extremely I can see it lasting indefinately. Very well made.

I've owned one of these excellent knives for a couple of years now, and it has been in constant use. The edge retention of the San Mai III blade is superb, as is the entire construction of this functional piece of art. It may seem a bit pricey for those new the the high quality knife market, but it certainly is worth every penny.

I saw this knive few months ago on Cold Steel webside and it looked just superb! When I got it in my hands it looked and felt even better. I was so happy... But only for few days. The lock, which is advertised as the strongest lock on the market, started to jam!!! And all I did was opening and closing it!!! I had to return it.
Maybe that was just bad luck but for that price that was last thing I was expecting.
