This overlooked British release (also known as "The Best of James Brown Live") is taken from a 1979 concert in Atlanta, Georgia. Aside from Brown's 1979 R&B hit "It's Too Funky in Here" most of the material looks back to the singer's 1960s heyday. The sound quality is terrific with the crowd reactions prominent...as they should be. All in all The Godfather Of Soul turns in a typically impassioned performance.
