This is quite an expensive cover and it looks like it, feels like it, and wears like it! Purple is my favorite color and I was delighted that Cole Haan produced this cover in my color. The outside basketweave pattern is gorgeous and the inside suede is soft and fabulous. I travel extensiviely and get comments about my cover all the time, which, of course, draws attention to the Kindle that I am reading. Together, the cover and Kindle draw quite a bit of interest for their beauty and functionality. My only suggestion for this cover is that it have some type of holder on the right side of the cover so the Kindle does not flop around so much. That is really not a big problem, but for such a class act cover it would certainly have been appreciated.

I love Cole Haan products and was very excited to order this one but it was not worth the money. The way the Kindle clipped in using the hinges made it pop up and the front cover wouldn't stay closed. It looked nice but I returned it. I ordered another similar product from M-Edge for much less money and I am much more satisfied with it because it has elastics in the right hand corners to keep the Kindle in place and it prevents the problems that the Cole Haan cover had.

I brought this cover to go with my new 6" Display Latest Generation Kindle and it did not disappoint! Yes, it is pricey. I brought it as a special treat and because I travel quite a bit so I wanted to make sure my Kindle would be well protected. The Cole Haan Hand-Weaven Paten Leather Kindle Cover with Hinge came beautifully wrapped in tissue paper in a beautiful box. It was like unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning and wondering what wonderful surprise was inside.

The cover is well crafted and very sturdy. I have carried it in my purse and briefcase and it has held up well with no marks or wear. I also use it with my Mighty Bright XtraFlex 2 Clip-On Light and that does not scracth or show any wear marks as well.

If I were forced to complain about anything, it would have been nice to have instructions on how to attach the Kindle to the cover. I had to figure that out on my own and I will admit I was a bit challenged on which end of the Kindle to attach first. BTW, it's the bottom. :)

I absolutely love my new Cole Haan Kindle cover. It was a little pricey but I like quality pieces & although the official Leather Kindle cover is a little lighter weight, I feel this one gives extra padding. The first couple times I read using it, was a little stiff to fold back, but as all leather products, gives & becomes more supple with use. It has a very comfortable feel in my hand & I like the "woven" look. Of course I picked one of my favorite colors, purple, but may in future buy one in black for travel...who knows! The reason I only gave durability only 4 stars is I have only had the product for a couple months, but has the feel & look of quality workmanship. Judy Bailey

I bought this cover when I bought my second generation Kindle (passed first generation Kindle to my husband). This cover is beautiful and adds a touch of class to the Kindle. In the coffee shop, at the doctor's office or wherever I choose to travel with my mere forty-seven novels, I always get comments and questions. At home as well, the cover is so much a part of the Kindle, I just feel the two are inseparable. Just love both my Kindle and the Cole Haan cover.

I absolutely love my Kindle and have 2 covers already but thought I would indulge myself with the Cole Haan and then really go for it with the purple (when in my heart I wanted to stay safe with the bronze). I could not wait for it to arrive. It came today and I am so disappointed! The back cover was warped so I am definately sending it back. But what was really disappointing was how uncomfortable it felt to hold it...maybe it's the hardness of the patent leather but it actually felt like it was cutting my fingers. I am going to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt and order the bronze (which is not a patent leather, and should be more supple) and then hope it's not warped when that one arrives!

This very attractive and elegant cover for my wife's Kindle 2 has been an unqualified success--I gave it for her birthday and was one of the few times I truly suprised her. She immediately put it to use and is not only comfortable with the way it dresses up the device, she is the envy of our daughters, so I now have more leads for presents! It protects the Kindle 2 without making it bulky or awkward. Thanks for making this very useful and beautiful cover available. We certainly would recommend it to others.

Purchased this cover for my Kindle about a month ago. I love this. I was concerned because it didn't have clips for the right side of the Kindle, but you don't need it. It's very secure. There are little holes for tabs on the left side of the Kindle, which I hadn't noticed. I carry it with me in my pocketbook everywhere I go. I've gotten several compliments on the cover as well as the Kindle. I would highly recommend. It's a little more expensive I'm sure just because it's Cole Haan, but it's so soft inside and pretty outside. Love it!!

I love how it looks! Easy to use when reading, great quality, and very protective of the Kindle. While expensive, I feel it meets all of my needs and is worth the price.

I was hesitant to spend this much for a cover, at first. Well, I took the plunge in the purple, and it is gorgeous! After over a month of heavy daily use, it still looks brand new. I throw my Kindle, in this cover, into my bag and take it everywhere.

For me, it was well worth the investment!!
