Mocedades is an excellent group, they have an exceptional female voice, that honestly is out of this world .I really recommend this group, specially those that love romantic music this is the right choice.

Mocedades reminds me a lot of Mamas and Papas. Sure they're a bit unpolished. The albums are decades old. That's just the point. It's what makes them so appealing. You hear every voice and note. And all the songs and harmonies they do are wonderfully singable. I see that this review will post on this "Coleccion" album. Their "Platino" is my favorite.

First of all, this is a compilation of the Mocedades' hits. All songs are beautiful. I own several LPs and CDs represent Mocedades' works.
I finally found a CD that sounds excellent in terms of the audio quality. This is re-mastered cd. Some of their CDs and LPs sounded kind of thin, forward, and bright. Not this one! There is enough clear bass notes that can be heard. Also the midrange and highs are done right. If you own descent 2 channel stereo system, you will appreciate this CD quite well.

Modedades is an excellent singing group and this collection features songs from an original composer. I bought it mostly because it include Eres Tu, often heard on American radio, but other selections are also outstanding.

The first time I heard Eres Tu was in the movie, Tommy Boy, believe it or not. After years of remembering that song and recently hearing it BEAUTIFULLY sung on the Lawrence Welk Show, I ordered it. Upon receiving it and playing it for the first time, my enthusiasim waned. Although the lyrics are simple and meaningful, which I love, the singing voices are much to be desired. The rest of the album is not much better. Perhaps, if I listen to it enough, I will accept their unrefinement. Then again, I think not. Does anyone know if a cover was ever made for Erest Tu?
