I purchased this cooler to augment my already well used Igloo five-day cooler (which I love.) We took them both camping and I was shocked to find that I had to keep restocking this cooler with ice every two days. The lid is designed to be pushed down, but has no tight lid-locking mechanism like the Igloo does, so I'm guessing that's the major difference. Although we took great pains to make sure that we tapped the lid down all the way around everytime we removed something from the cooler, it just did not work as advertised. I am very disappointed in this product. If it weren't for the fact that I would have to pay back the "prime" shipping if I returned it to Amazon, along with the return shipping and restocking fees, I would send it back immediately. I did email Coleman about this product, but have yet to receive any reply from them. My advice? Buy the Igloo and save money in the long run.

Gave as a gift. Receiver loves the cooler. Says it is the best ever, really holds cold.

The item arrived in a timely manner and its a quality purchase. Its keeps ice just like advertised. I am very satisafied with it. It has lots of room and is easy to carry with sturdy handles.

I have a Coleman 80 qt Extreme which I like but it does not hold enough for a long weekend at the race track. I purchased an Igloo 100 qt that was also rated to keep ice for 5 days. The construction was cheaper than the Coleman and it did not keep ice as long. After several uses, some low life stole the Igloo out of the back of my pick up truck. I was not really sorry to see it go.

The Coleman holds 3 blocks of ice and a 20 lb bag, a case of drinks, Gatorade and everything for 3 days of lunches. Fully loaded I can just lift it. I use 2 blocks of ice in my cool shirt cooler and still have ice left in the Coleman at the end of the weekend.

I looked at the cheaper 120 qt Coleman at Walmart and determined that is was not the same quality as this 100 qt unit. I am glad I spent the extra money for a quality product.

Very well constructed. I expect, and know I will receive great service from this product; especially when we camp in the heat.
