Great price on the flatware set. It served our family well. The spoons are huge, which is good for adults, but if you have small children I recommend bringing there own spoons. My 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old had trouble fitting these in there mouths. All in all this is a great purchase and will serve us for many years to come. Thanks!!

This is CAMPING flatware...great for CAMPING and picnics. I shook the pouch and nothing fell out. However, the set comes in a thick plastic envelope with snaps. Keep the pouch in there for transport to avoid losing any pieces. The gaps that another critic complained about were absent from my sets (bought 2). The pieces are lightweight, so you can bring them backpacking, too. Mine are going into the picnic basket. I suppose I am a little disappointed that I will not be able to use this set when I break out the Lennox for Thanksgiving.

This a great and well packaged set. The lightness of the utensils may make some think of them as cheap, but if I'm backpacking, I'm happy about that feature! They were the perfect set for our camping trip and were plenty durable for four guys using them for steaks! Along with the enamelware set it is a great relief to not have to worry about additional trash in the middle of nowhere. Great and exactly what I expected.

A friend had these... had to get them so I could stop foraging through a big box of stuff to find that 1 last fork.

Coleman generally has decent camping gear, but this was not as well made as expected. There are gaps between the utensils and the handles, which will allow bits of stuff to get in there, and hard to clean. They generally didn't have a great feel to them, not being of high quality. I am returning them. They are decent, but not great.

This is good, basic flatware for the great outdoors. It's not flashy, but it does the job and does it pretty well. My set had no problem with "gaps" in construction. As far as people complaining about the case, I haven't had any problems with pieces coming out during transport. If you do, it's simple enough to simply roll the case tight and put a rubberband around it.

The best features are that this set is reuseable, thus saving on litter, and cheap, thus saving on the wallet.

The roll up case is not secure. It would be better if there was a flap to keep the pieces from falling out. The silver ware itself is nothing special.

I has my set for over 2years and they are still like new today as this is a well made product by Coleman. I use these for every 6 months on ends while away camping and the other times in my backyard for guess when i got a BBQ party on the go. Great folding wallet for storage. Tie them tight, they wont ever fall out. Easy to wash up with brush.
Only thing you got to watch with this item' Knife can be very sharp, i have cut myself with knife while washing up, but it about time that we have got something what will do the job for camping as most other names product are useless i have owned before. Worth the money and highly recommended.

I agree with the statement it would be nice if they had a flap that went over the top of the cookies. I think with that change you could easily take these on a hike/camping trip.

In general there is nothing fantastic about these but then again it is for camping and not formal flatwear. So in the end I got what I wanted something cheap for my camping trips and didn't have to collect or dig through old silverware.

I gave this 3 stars because the packaging could be improved.

I have used it for one three day camping trip and put it through the dishwasher twice. This set of silverware has worked very well. It is exactly as I had expected. It packs securely and I have had no problems with items falling out. I did find that it packs more compactly if I put the spoons and forks either end and reversed one of their curvatures (i.e. put them in turned over). This was definitely a good purchase.
