5.0 out of 5 stars Coleman 12-volt Qick Pump - A+
Purchased the Coleman 12-volt QuickPump to inflate a very large float while out on the water with our boat. The pump is a lot faster than I anticipated, inflating and deflating the float. It pumps up a good pressure and does an excellent pulling the air out of the float, when it is time to go. I highly recommend this product based on the quality and price

2.0 out of 5 stars Worked great for a few trips and then fell apart

The housing of the pump itself is fairly well constructed but the plug is ridiculously poor quality, so I suggest using it gently. I'm still looking for a replacement but do not recommend this product at this price.

The description says it'll inflate a boat but I think they mean a pool toy because it didn't even come close to inflating mine. I returned it and bought a manual river boat pump and in a few strokes it gets more air in than 15mins of using this tiny, whining motor. I am glad it didn't work because I didn't want to endure that noise early in the morning at camp LOL! I wouldn't rely on it for an airbed.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT SO GOOD, July 15, 2011

I bought this pump for my Sea Eagle SE-9 inflatable boat after reading some reviews here about the product. When I got it, I was very excited and even thinking that I would never need the old foot pump anymore. Surprise! I plugged it in, put the tube into the boat, 30 minutes later the darn thing was still going. It makes more noise than anything else with very little inflating to show for it. After I realized that this pump might run my car battery dry causing even more pain, I decided to pull the plug and you guessed it......yup, I am back on the old foot pump, which did the job in 15 minutes with a little bit of muscle power. So, would I recommend this product to other buyers? Well, if you are going to use it to inflate a small beach ball, soccer ball or a small inflatable bed, YES. But, for anything else, it's much better to dish out a little more dough and get something more powerful and durable. I am giving this one to the Salvation Army, I am sure it will find a happy home somewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great air pump for the money, September 12, 2009

I bought this pump for blowing up my fishing tube float and with the attached hose it is quick and easy. You can use the battery clips or the accessory outlet in the car for power. I also bought the Coleman 12 Volt pump without the small hose for another location in case I forgot to bring one of them. With the included adapters it will blow up a lot of water toys or air mattresses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what a boat pump should be, June 22, 2009

We dont have a 12V DC plug on our boat, so the attached battery clips are extremely useful, and I never have to worry about charging it or being near a car to fill up the tube. Fills very quickly, and stows away very easily. I would greatly recommend for any recreational boater who likes to tube but not lug around a full tube all the time.

I used this last weekend filling up a Colemans Air Bed for SUV's. This pump gets with the program and inflated it in a matter of minutes. It also sucked the air out in seconds. Great puump to get and have with your camping equipment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great portable pump!, September 13, 2008
This review is from: Coleman 12-Volt QuickPump Water Resistant Air Pump with Hose and Battery Clips (Sports)
I purchased this pump because I wanted to inflate one of those tubes you tow behind your boat. I needed something that was somewhat water resistant, and that I could clip directly to the battery. This pump fills the bill. The connection to the tube is perfect, and the tube fills very quickly. Also, I can easily clip it to the batttery, and it comes with a cigarette lighter connection too. I highly recommend this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars 12 volt Air Pump, June 24, 2011

This review is from: Coleman 12-Volt QuickPump Water Resistant Air Pump with Hose and Battery Clips (Sports)

This Coleman work fine in inflating my Zodiac 8' Boat Tender up to 80% of pressure.
Must use the foot pump to increase pressure to hard sides or 3-4 psi.
Also works fine in deflating the same boat for quicker packing.
Wish the 12 volt cord was longer, 6' is too short.

Coleman never cease to amaze me with garbage they make. I not sure how they still in business. Told myself dozen times not to buy it and after every purchase and cooling down period, but did again.

Well to make story short this is not pump, it's just a fan with very poor quality of materials. Its will literally break down in your hands. Air pressure is never near to be enough to inflate air bed, not talking about boat or air water slide. My vacuum does better job than this piece of junk. Great thing about amazon that you can always pack it and send it back at no cost.

Do you self a favor, exclude word "Coleman" from your search for camping/outdoor stuff.
